Terms and Conditions

You are responsible for your own mental, physical, and emotional well-being and safety in your choice to participate in any part of a course or event. Any activity you choose to participate in is deemed as being between consenting adults. No liability can be accepted by us for your well-being and safety.

You are responsible for your own safe practice throughout the retreat. This means that in agreeing to attend, you are agreeing to safe practice whether that be of a sexual nature, mental, physical or emotional. i.e. not exposing yourself to health risks and not exposing yourself to situations where you feel you may be damaged or hurt on an emotional, physical and mental level.

 

We reserve the right to withdraw any services to you at any time if we are concerned about your well being and welfare. This could mean that you are asked to leave. If this happens no refund will be offered.

If your attending the retreat and you choose not to continue with the set programme, it is likely that you will be asked to leave the venue. Witnessing (watching) and being in the group space even though you may choose not to participate in the specific exercise is counted as being part of the programme. It is likely to have a detrimental impact to the group process if you are making a choice not to continue with the programme but wish to stay on the premises.

We reserve the right to withdraw any services  at any time without the need to provide any explanation. However our aim is to be fair to you at all times in our dealings.

Ethics: We are committed to the highest ethical practice. In signing up to the Terms and Conditions, you are also agreeing to those as laid out in this section. Liability & ResponsibilityI cannot offer any liability to you for any part of the services I offer. It is your duty to ensure your own personal safety. No liability or responsibility can be taken by the facilitators for you. You will need to ensure you are mentally, physically and emotionally able to engage in the treatments, events, workshops or retreats. If you have any concerns you are responsible for your own duty of care to yourself and as such should seek appropriate advice before participating in any individual or group activity. Your Personal Behaviour - We will not tolerate any form of aggressive or inappropriate behaviour towards us, venue staff or other group members. Any such behaviour will be addressed and if not rectified immediately could result in you being asked to leave a course, event or a massage session. Where you have been requested to leave a course no refund will be given.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your booked place on any "residential” or “non-residential” course or event, no refund for deposits, food, accommodation, tuition or installments can be given. However, you are able to sell, transfer or gift your ticket to another person (pending mutual assessment of their suitability). You would be responsible for finding this person. We would require notification of this at least four weeks prior to the event. Please email Jason at jason@embodiederos.org to discuss circumstances.
 
Upon any cancellation, we reserve the right to try to re-sell accommodation and tickets. If we need to cancel a course or event for any reason within our reasonable control, we will give you a full refund of the amount you paid when you booked the course. If for any reason we need to cancel a course it is our aim to give you at least four weeks’ notice. Where we can we will offer you alternative dates / courses. A minimum of 12 participants are needed to run the retreat.
 
If the delivery of a course or event that you have booked is delayed, hindered, made inadvisable, made commercially impracticable, made illegal, or made impossible to perform, by the occurrence of an unforeseeable act or event which is beyond the reasonable control of ourselves (the organisers, tutors or venue) ("Force Majeure Events"), we shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in the performance of our obligations to deliver the event. In such a case, we cannot offer you any refunds. However, at our discretion and only if commercially practicable, we might offer you to transfer to a future event. Acts or events constituting Force Majeure Events shall include (but not be limited to) Acts of God, major natural disasters, wars, major political unrest, disease and epidemics, government intervention, directives or policies, and other circumstances beyond our control.
